Company Management
Pat Sperduto, President
Mr. Sperduto brings 18 years experience in the solid waste and recycling business. He has played key roles in entrepreneurial waste companies as well as executive management within Waste Haulers’ served market. Prior to forming Waste Haulers, Mr. Sperduto served Waste Management for nearly 10 years in numerous marketing and operating capacities. Prior to his departure, Mr. Sperduto led Waste Management’s marketing efforts for Connecticut, Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. These markets collectively generated $300 million in annual revenues and Mr. Sperduto managed over 50 employees. During this tenure, Mr. Sperduto played a leading role in the identification, negotiation and integration of 30 acquisitions. Prior to Waste Management, he served in various operating and sales capacities for several middle market waste providers with hauling, transfer and material recovery facility operations.
Richard Wyatt, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wyatt brings over 22 years experience in senior level accounting, finance and operational positions for both private and public corporations, including manufacturing and services businesses, ranging in size from $10m to $160m in annual revenues. Some of the positions Mr. Wyatt held during his tenure with Waste Management were Divisional Controller, Market Area Director of Financial Control and Analysis, and Senior District Manager. He is technically trained in all aspects of finance. Mr. Wyatt has superior analytical and interpersonal skills, including staff development and motivation. Mr. Wyatt has been involved in many acquisitions during his career from the due diligence process to integrating and reducing staff and costs to improve shareholder value.
Angelo Calcagni, Operations Manager
Mr. Calcagni has 10 years of experience in operations and management within the solid waste industry. As the former manager of We Dispose, a family owned and operated waste removal company, Mr. Calcagni helped oversee implementation of various operating and sales procedures. In 2007, he helped merge the daily operations between We Dispose and Waste Haulers. Mr. Calcagni currently oversees operations and safety while attending law school.
